LocalHandz works best when people are clear, respectful and sensible about the jobs they post and accept.

Be accurate

Describe jobs, budgets, availability, experience and qualifications honestly. Do not mislead another member about what a job involves or your ability to perform it.

Keep jobs lawful and safe

Do not post or accept illegal or unsafe work. Where a job requires a licence, qualification, permit, insurance or specialist expertise, users are responsible for checking and meeting those requirements.

Treat people respectfully

No harassment, threats, discrimination, abuse, impersonation, scams or deliberately misleading behaviour.

Protect personal information

Only share personal information needed to arrange legitimate work. Do not publish or misuse another person's private information.

Use applications fairly

Do not manipulate applications, credits, cancellations, reviews or messages to obtain an improper benefit or mislead other users.

Payments and agreements

Confirm the scope, price and payment arrangements before work begins. Keep useful records of important agreements and changes.

Report problems

Report suspicious, abusive or unsafe behaviour to LocalHandz. In an emergency or where someone's immediate safety is at risk, contact the appropriate emergency service rather than relying on the platform.

Serious or repeated breaches may result in account restrictions or suspension.
